About

A Lagos software company led by an engineer who has done the job

WebCrunch TechWorks builds software for businesses that need it to work: web apps, mobile apps, payments and platforms, for clients across Nigeria and internationally.

Meet the founder

Timothy Fadipe has spent about 16 years in technology as a full-stack engineer comfortable across virtually any stack, from web and mobile front ends to back-end systems, payments, messaging and infrastructure.

Beyond WebCrunch, Timothy is Co-Founder and CTO of BuyCar, a Nigerian automotive marketplace with a physical car lot, and CTO of Cruise Arcade, a real-time crash-style game engine. Those roles shape how WebCrunch works: every client project gets the same product thinking and engineering discipline as a company Timothy co-owns.

Clients work with him directly, from the first discovery call through architecture, build and launch.

Our story

Why WebCrunch

Too many businesses have been burned by software that looked fine in a demo and fell apart in production: payments that don't reconcile, apps that crawl on a typical Android phone, and agencies that disappear after launch.

WebCrunch TechWorks exists to be the opposite: a small, senior team that builds carefully, explains clearly and stays accountable for the result.

Why Lagos

Built in Lagos, for anywhere

Lagos is one of the most demanding markets for software anywhere. Customers pay by bank transfer as often as by card, expect to reach you on WhatsApp, and use your product on networks that drop without warning. Software that works here is software that works.

For international clients, that means senior engineering at a sensible cost, on West Africa Time (UTC+1), which overlaps with the UK and Europe working day and the US morning.

Values

How we work with clients

  • Outcomes over output

We measure success by what the software does for your business, not by lines of code or hours billed.

  • Plain talk

No jargon, no padding. You'll always know what's being built, why, and what it costs.

  • Own your product

Your code lives in your repository and your accounts. Clean handover is standard, not an upsell.

  • Build for the real world

Variable networks, mid-range phones, bank transfers and WhatsApp-first customers. We design for them.

Need a CTO instead?
  1. 01

    Discover

    Days, not weeks

We start with your business, not the tech. What problem are we solving, for whom, and how will we know it worked?

  2. 02

    Design

    1–3 weeks

Flows, wireframes and architecture are agreed before code is written, so there are no surprises later.

  3. 03

    Build

    Weekly sprints

Working software every week on a staging link you can click through, with real progress instead of status reports.

  4. 04

    Launch

    Planned go-live

Testing, payments go-live, app store submission, domain and monitoring are handled for you.

  5. 05

    Support

    Ongoing

We stay on after launch for fixes, improvements and scaling, on a retainer or as needed.
